| So...some new music maybe? Shame...I like Scarborough Fair a lot, but oh well something new couldn't hurt. It's a bit loud though, so watch out for that. So...what's new? Well, that class is no longer too much of a problem. Yeah, after all that whining it turns out the guy isn't so bad after all. But I do have some bad news, as many of you may know, Mrs. Pollard is retiring. which is a shame because she's a really cool teacher. I like French infinitely more this year. Unfortunately, I heard that you-know-who may be teaching it next year. If that's true, than I think I'm going to drop French V and take AP Bio instead. But, it's just a rumor, so I probably will take it. Other events of note...Lake Park! We got sixth place in finals this year, which is cool, but I still think we could do better our show is really good this year! I have a good feeling about it, the clarinet section is unbelievably awesome this year. To think we used to be thought of as the worst section. Also, started with the Youth Symphony of DuPage, which is cool, I like playing in an orchestra. However, I still haven't been able to get my hands on an A Clarinet, so I'm stuck transposing into the key of A for a while; it's pretty hard.
Well, I didn't go to homecoming. I didn't have a date, and no matter what they say, it's really no fun without one. Besides, they never play any music that you can actually dance to. But it was fun to see just how many ways our school could butcher the word España, in both spelling and pronouncing =P. Anyways, I hope everyone that went had fun! No hard feelings, heh heh. And today, other than homework was Blast! It was really cool, they had some of the most insane players ever...those two snares? man it was great. That one trumpet player could put a certain someone to shame . Which brings me to the my conclusion, Natalie Scharf is the most awesome person on the planet. Haha way to stand up to that bastard. |
